Association for Accounting Marketing

Weinstein Spira is an active member in the Association for Accounting Marketing (AAM), the national trade association for marketing, business development and growth strategists in the accounting industry. Firm members participate in various committees and attend the annual AAM Summit. 

AGN International

AGN International is a worldwide association of separate and independent accounting and consulting firms serving business organizations locally and globally. Weinstein Spira is proud to be one of the association’s member firms. Learn more about our involvement in AGN International.

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)

Weinstein Spira is an active member of the AICPA. We participate in Interest Areas within the organization including:

The Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, a firm-based membership that helps with the challenges of performing quality audits of employee benefit plans.

The Center for Audit Quality is dedicated to enhancing investor confidence and public trust in the global capital markets by fostering high quality performance by public company auditors.

The Private Companies Practice Section, which supports CPA firms in the everyday intricacies of running a practice. The section provides firms with targeted resources, networking opportunities and is a strong voice within the CPA profession.

Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA)

The AM&AA is the premiere international organization serving the education and resource needs of the middle market M&A profession.  It was formed in 1998 to bring together CPAs, attorneys and other experienced corporate financial advisors.

Canadian Club of Houston

The Canadian Club of Houston includes over 300 Canadian-born citizens who live in the Greater Houston area. At Weinstein Spira, we include our neighbors to the north when we talk about community. We support our Canadian clients – tax shareholder – Tobias McFaul – by sponsoring the club’s Canada Day celebration.

Commercial Finance Association (CFA)

The CFA is a trade group for the financial services industry. Through our involvement, we are able to better serve our clients through an enhanced network and knowledge of what’s available in the industry. Weinstein Spira also hosts a Lunch & Learn each fall for members of the group.

Entrepreneurs' Organization

EO is a collection of like-minded entrepreneurs focused on business growth, personal development and community engagement.

Greater Houston Women's Chapter of Commerce (GHWCC)

The GHWCC is a nonprofit business organization of highly influential and diverse women and men dedicated to the advancement and empowerment of women through avenues of leadership, education, advocacy and mentoring.

Houston Business & Estate Planning Council

The Houston Business & Estate Planning Council provides high quality professional education programs to all members in the estate planning field.

Texas Restaurant Association

The Texas Restaurant Association serves, educates and supports the restaurant industry in Texas. They ensure their members have the resources to succeed and grow.

Women's Finance Exchange (WFE)

The WFE of Houston is a network of financial service providers such as accountants, lawyers, bankers and more. Weinstein Spira has been an active member of the network for several years and is a sponsor of the Annual Duck Hunt.
